I am always on the lookout for more good books to read aloud to my younger children. Â Well…this one kept my younger AND older children interested last night!
The Oak Inside the Acorn by Max Lucado is a wonderful book talking about how God has a special plan for each of us. Â While our children are young, it is easy for them to look around and try to compare themselves to others, wondering what their purpose in life is.
This book speaks a wonderful message of hope…that God has created each of us for a specific purpose, and we simply need to trust Him as we grow into who He is making us to be.
Actually, this spoke to me as well last night…how I can simply rest in Him and His plan for my life.
If you are looking for a good book to add to your home library, I highly recommend this one!
