I am always on the lookout for more good books to read aloud to my younger children. Well…this one kept my younger AND older children interested last night!
The Oak Inside the Acorn by Max Lucado is a wonderful book talking about how God has a special plan for each of us. While our children are young, it is easy for them to look around and try to compare themselves to others, wondering what their purpose in life is.
This book speaks a wonderful message of hope…that God has created each of us for a specific purpose, and we simply need to trust Him as we grow into who He is making us to be.
Actually, this spoke to me as well last night…how I can simply rest in Him and His plan for my life.
If you are looking for a good book to add to your home library, I highly recommend this one!
