My kids love chicken nuggets…so when I found a recipe to make them I thought I’d give it a try! I adjusted a few of the ingredients to our liking…and boy did we like it! They were SO good…especially dipped in a bit of honey! Yum! Enjoy the recipe!
CHICKEN NUGGETS
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 cup olive oil or coconut oil
In a resealable plastic bag, combine the first 6 ingredients. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Place chicken pieces, a few at a time, in the bag and shake to coat.
Heat oil in a skillet and cook chicken, turning frequently, until it is browned and juices run clear (about 6-8 minutes, but cooking times will vary depending on how big your bite-sized pieces are!).
