- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fine ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Mix all ingredients together and store in a ziplock bag or covered container in the freezer.
To Use: Put some coating mix in a bowl or pan. Wash fish fillets in water, then roll in coating mix. Heat oil (I like to use coconut oil) in skillet. When hot, fry fish for several minutes on each side until done. Serve with some homemade french fries and a large green salad for a yummy meal!
