I just LOVE chili and if you don’t have a lot of time this recipe may be just what you are looking for! I just dump everything in the crockpot and turn it on low and let cook for 4-6 hours. It makes a great Sunday noon meal or evening meal during the week when you need to fix something “ahead of time”. This goes together especially quick if you already have browned hamburger in the freezer! Enjoy!
EASY CROCKPOT CHILI
1 pound ground beef, browned
2 cans chili beans
2 cans diced tomatoes (we like the petite diced)
1 package chili seasoning (or use the homemade recipe below)
Chili Seasoning (equals one store-bought packet)
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper, crushed
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Put all ingredients in crockpot and stir. Allow to cook on low for 4-6 hours. Serve with corn chips or corn bread and shredded cheddar cheese.
