CRUST: (Makes 1 crust – can be doubled easily for 2 crusts)

Put the following ingredients in the order given into your heavy duty mixer and knead for about 6 minutes:

2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon sugar or honey
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour (you can use any combination of white & wheat flour)
1 cup warm water
1 tablespoon yeast

After kneading, roll out dough onto pan.  Spread with sauce (see recipe below) and toppings and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

PIZZA SAUCE: (Enough sauce for 1 large pizza – Double for 2 pizzas.)

Mix the following ingredients in a small bowl:

8 oz. Can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sugar or honey
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon olive oil for flavoring (optional)
