2 pound hamburger
1/2 cup bread crumbs or corn flakes
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
Combine meat, bread crumbs or corn flakes, season salt and eggs in large bowl. Form into 8 patties and lay in a large baking pan. Bake these at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, then drain off any fat. Pour gravy over the top (see recipe below) and bake another 20 minutes.
Serve with mashed potatoes or other vegetable and a salad for a yummy meal!
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons flour
3 beef bouillon cubes (or 3 teaspoons granules)
2 cups milk
1/2 cup water
In a saucepan melt butter and add flour. When this is hot and bubbly and well mixed add bouillon, milk, and water. Stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly and all the lumps are worked out. Let cook for about 3 minutes. Now the gravy is ready to use in the above recipe.
