Yummy French Toast

My kids love french toast for breakfast.  I can’t believe I haven’t shared this recipe yet.  While french toast is good any time of the year, we especially like to fix it in the winter…with some homemade hot chocolate!  I hope you enjoy the recipe!

4 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
10-12 slices bread (homemade is best!)

Preheat your griddle on medium heat.

Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a 9×9-inch pan until well blended.

Dip each slice of bread into egg mixture, coating the front and back of the bread and place on hot griddle to cook. Turn when lightly browned, cooking both sides.

Serve with butter and maple syrup. We also love applesauce on top instead of the syrup. Yummy!
