This has been a favorite recipe of ours for quite a few years.  It is definitely NOT healthy…but oh so good!  As you can tell in the picture, I did not have the WHITE almond bark, or the plain mini marshmallows.  I wanted to make these to get a picture for this post…so here is the adapted version using chocolate almond bark and fruit flavored mini marshmallows!  These are very sweet and would make a great gift cut into small pieces and put in a Christmas tin or plate.  Enjoy!

Reindeer Droppings

  • 1 package white almond bark (20-24 oz.) – you can also use chocolate if you want..that’s good too!
  • 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal

In a large pot, melt the almond bark over low heat.  Stir in peanut butter to melt and mix.

Remove from stove and stir in marshmallows and crisp rice cereal until everything is coated.

Pour into a wax paper lined 9×13-inch pan.  (You can also spoon into nut cups for gift giving).

Chill in refrigerator until firm.

Remove from the pan and cut into squares.  Store in a closed container in the refrigerator.

Yield:  2 pounds of candy
