This has been a favorite recipe of ours for quite a few years.  It is definitely NOT healthy…but oh so good!  As you can tell in the picture, I did not have the WHITE almond bark, or the plain mini marshmallows.  I wanted to make these to get a picture for this post…so here is the adapted version using chocolate almond bark and fruit flavored mini marshmallows!  These are very sweet and would make a great gift cut into small pieces and put in a Christmas tin or plate.  Enjoy!
Reindeer Droppings
- 1 package white almond bark (20-24 oz.) – you can also use chocolate if you want..that’s good too!
- 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
In a large pot, melt the almond bark over low heat. Â Stir in peanut butter to melt and mix.
Remove from stove and stir in marshmallows and crisp rice cereal until everything is coated.
Pour into a wax paper lined 9×13-inch pan. Â (You can also spoon into nut cups for gift giving).
Chill in refrigerator until firm.
Remove from the pan and cut into squares. Â Store in a closed container in the refrigerator.
Yield: Â 2 pounds of candy
