Homemade for the Holidays #23: Lacy Scarf {crochet project}

I love to crochet and when I found this pattern I just had to give it a try! I had some Simply Soft yarn that I used and oh….this scarf is so soft and cuddly! I made a couple of these for gifts for Christmas. It isn’t too hard either, so even if you are a beginner, give it a try! Have fun!
MATERIALS:
- Yarn
- Crochet Hook – Size J
Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, dc,
CrSt=Sk next st, dc in next st, dc in skipped st.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Row 1: Ch 26, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining chainS (25 sc)
Row 2: Ch 3, turn. * Sk next st. (dc, ch1, dc) in next st. Sk next st. CrSt over next 2 sts. Rep from * across to last 4 sts. Sk next st. (dc, ch1, dc) in next st. Sk next st. Dc in last st.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn. (dc, ch1, dc) in next ch-1 sp. *CrSt in next CrSt. (dc, ch1, dc) in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * across. Dc in last st (top of beg ch 3).
Rows 4-82: Repeat Row 3
Last Row: Sc in ea dc and ch across (25 sc)
Fasten Off
FRINGE: Cut 3 12-inch lengths of same yarn to use as fringe. Place a fringe in every other stitch along the short ends.
