I thought I would do a quick post this morning and share with you some really neat {free} resources for your nature-loving children!  The picture here is one that my oldest son took of a woodpecker at his suet feeder.

He really enjoys the birds and so some of these links are going to be specific to birds, but you will find a variety of others as well.  Enjoy!

Anna Comtock’s book, Handbook of Nature Study, is an excellent resource to use for your nature study! You can purchase a hard copy online, but a free copy can be downloaded here (in PDF format). This is a HUGE book with a ton of information. I can’t say enough good about this book! Grab your copy today and print out pages as you need them!
