This year I have decided to tackle the Declutter Your Home in 15 Minutes a Day Challenge!
Each week I will post about what I got accomplished the previous week. I love this challenge because I can print out the calendar for the month, with the 15-minute tasks assigned to each day. Go here to sign up for the challenge and get your calendars! I have mine printed and posted on the refrigerator so I can quickly see what the tasks are for the day and then cross them off when I get them done.
What I Decluttered Last Week
Since there were just a few days last week, I only had a few tasks to get done.
- Set up a household management binder. (Thanks to my Intentional Planner, this one was already done!)
- Designated a donation box so that as I declutter the house, I will have a place to put items I want to donate.
- Donate used Christmas cards. I loved doing this and plan to have a large envelope that I can add cards to during the year (such as birthday, get well, etc.). Then at the end of the year I will package them all up and mail them out to be used for a good purpose!
What I Am Decluttering This Week
This week the focus is on the kitchen sink area and counters. I’ll try to take some pictures as I go so you can see the progress I have made!
