This week I am going to filter back in some more non-fiction books. I am really enjoying the reading times I have had and this past week had some extra time due to the plain fact that I was needing more rest! Â The rest felt so good and, of course, I enjoyed some great books. Here are the books I finished this week and a few I am reading now.
3 Books I Finished This Week
Sunday Is Served: Sunday Lunch Simplified With Once a Quarter Cooking – I love Beth’s new ebook! She provides a simple plan that shows you how to prepare several months of Sunday lunches ahead of time. This ebook includes complete menus, preparation instructions, grocery lists, and recipes for a complete year. If you have struggled to put lunch on the table on Sundays, you need this book! I received this ebook free for being a subscriber to her site! Click here to grab your own copy!
Ready or Not (Aggie Series, Book 1) – This was another great book by Chautona Havig. I love how all her books are woven together into one big story. You really get to know the characters and there is so much that I can relate to. I was tickled to finish this one this week, and actually completed Book 2 as well (below)!
For Keeps (Aggie Series, Book 2) – Since I finished Book 1 in this series before the week was out, I went ahead and started in on Book 2 — and finished it! I’ve said it before, but I am learning so much from these books — about relationships, about the Lord, about love and forgiveness. Chautona does a wonderful job of weaving great life lessons in her books! I’ve already started in on Book 3 (the last in the Aggie series) and will have that finished this week I’m sure.
Books I Plan to Read This Coming Week
Mysterious Signal (Freedom Seekers #5)Â – This is our current read-aloud book. Again, we are loving this series based on the Underground Railroad and plan to finish out the 6 book series before we move on to other read-aloud books!
For the Children’s Sake -I bought this book several years ago and never totally read through it. From what others have said, this is an excellent book and I am excited to dig into it again and get all the way through this time!
Here We Come (Aggie Series, Book 3) – As mentioned above, I already started this one and can’t wait to finish!
You Are Loved -I am continuing working through this book and doing the Bible study. It is so good and just what I needed right now.
Own Your Life –Â My friend is hoping to receive her book this week, so I am looking forward to reading and studying my way through this book with her soon!
