Helpful resource for reading the Bible with your children

I was looking for a commentary to use just to give me a bit of background as I read through the Bible with the kids. I had totally forgotten that I had this Chapter-by-Chapter Bible Commentary on my shelf…and it is perfect!
This little reference has a brief summary of each chapter of the Bible with some life application notes as well. I love it!
Now I look ahead and read the commentary on the chapters we are getting ready to read. Not only does it help me as we read and discuss the Bible reading each day, but I am learning a lot too!
