Blooming where I am planted {a blogging update}

I have been wanting to write this post for some time now….since taking a blogging break this summer. Blogging has been a lot of fun for me over the past several years and it has been such an encouragement to me to hear back from you how some of the things I have shared have blessed and helped you. As the Lord had me pull away for a bit to seek Him, I wanted to share what He has shown me…
It is ALL about Him, not me!
Anything good or helpful I have to share comes only out of His working in my life.
I must keep my priorities in line with His Word.
I must not fall into the trap of comparing.
I must not fear.
I must trust Him alone.
I must decrease, so He can increase.
I must strive to please the Lord, not man.
It is not about me, but ALL about Him!
I have surrendered this blog and my little online business to the Lord, and will follow His leading in all that I do.
I cannot promise a rigid blogging schedule, but can only promise to write what the Lord lays on my heart to write, when He leads me to write it.
What can you expect to see on my blog in the future?
As I have shared in the past, the Lord has had me in a place recently of really focusing on family relationships. I look forward to writing more about that in the months ahead, as the Lord works in me and in my family’s lives.
Of course I will continue to share about our homeschooling journey, my adventures in the kitchen making healthy food for my family, and any other topics the Lord brings to mind.
I want to thank each of you who take the time to keep up with my blog…your comments and notes of encouragement mean so much to me. There are times when I feel so inadequate to be sharing here..so unqualified..but the Lord reminded me last night as I was doing my Bible reading that it is not about me…it is about Him. He will equip me to do the work He is calling me to do…whether that be blogging, mothering, homeschooling, or being a good wife.
I am choosing to bloom where He has planted me, being content with where I am at, and seeking to allow the Lord to continually be working and changing me!
Have a blessed day in the Lord!
