Over the years we have done many different things to celebrate Advent and the coming of Christmas. We have done Advent devotionals, Advent calendars, Christmas countdowns, etc. Well, when I saw this new ebook, Truth in the Tinsel-An Advent Experience for Little Hands, I knew I had to have a copy!
For each day of December leading up to Christmas Day, there is a short devotional and Bible reading and an ornament to make together. If time is an issue and you don’t have time to make all the ornaments each day, you can purchase a separate ebook with printable ornaments! That way if you only have time for the devotional, you will still have the printable ornament to use for your Advent display.
While this ebook is geared to use with preschool-early elementary children, it would still make a wonderful Advent study for the whole family…even if you have older children too. If the older ones are too “big” to make the ornaments, have them pair up with a younger one to be their helper.
