When I created The Intentional Journal, my desire was to provide something that people could use to journal about anything that they wanted to. I wanted it to be versatile and usable.
This morning as I was getting ready for the day, I was thinking on how I wanted to use my journal in 2015. There are some areas of my life that need some accountability and discipline, and I decided that using The Intentional Journal for this purpose would be perfect.
The Journal includes a half-page for each day of the year, giving me plenty of room for journaling whatever I want (but without too much room that I feel stressed to fill it all up!). I am really excited about this and wished it was January 1 so I could start!
Here is my plan…
Journal: 3 things I am thankful for
Each day I plan to begin the day by writing down 3 things I am thankful for. I have done this off and on through the years, but really want to make this a habit in the new year.
Journal: What I eat each day
Over the past year I have gotten lazy and not been very disciplined with eating right. I know that if I have to write down what I eat and see it on paper, it will make me think twice about snacking and eating things that I shouldn’t. My plan is to write down my menu for the day so I have planned ahead of time and know what my meals will be. Hopefully this will get me back into the habit of eating right, staying on the THM plan, and not resorting to snacking when I don’t need to be or eating something “off plan” because I don’t know what else to eat.
How about you?
Grab a journal today and get ready to begin with me on January1!
Do you have some journaling goals for the new year? I’d love to hear what you will be journaling about and why. Share in the comments!
