Just wanted to pop in real quick and wish each of you a very blessed Christmas!
As I have shared previously, this Christmas has been a little hard with my father-in-law undergoing cancer surgery the beginning of this month. But we are praising the Lord – he got to come home yesterday! He is so looking forward to being home for Christmas! Thank you to each of you who prayed for him.
This morning we are going to be making Peppernuts – a little family tradition. These are not your typical Peppernuts, but a special recipe that my grandparents made each Christmas. They are donut hole size and cake-like and dunked in powdered sugar frosting. Oh so good!
My husband has to work a half day today, so we will be having our family Christmas after he gets home. The kids can’t wait! Then tomorrow we will spend half the day with my parents, and half the day with my husband’s parents. Should be a fun and busy day!
I am going to be taking a little break from the blog until next week. But I’d love for you to follow me over on my Facebook page! I will be posting some fun Christmas videos today and some beautiful Christmas music tomorrow for you to enjoy.
It has been a joy to serve you this past year and I look forward to the new year and what the Lord has in store for me.
Thanks to each of you for your love and support, your notes of encouragement, and for taking the time to read what I write here. You are a blessing and encouragement to me!
Have a blessed Christmas and enjoy these precious times with your family!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
