I love to read and look forward to having a little extra time this week to do just that! It is fun to see what others are reading, so I thought a quick post today to share the books I’d love to finish this week would be fun.
This is a scheduled week off of our regular school schedule, so I have made a list of some projects I want to get done around the house, as well as working on some blog related projects.
Projects I Want to Finish
My front porch is decorated so pretty for fall, but I have some pots that need to be put away for the winter and the whole porch swept. I also want to spend some time working on getting The Reader’s Bible Vol. 2 completed and a proof copy ordered. My goal is to get all the volumes done before Christmas!
Books I Want to Read
Caught Up in a Story– I am almost done with this one. It has been so enlightening to read Sarah’s insights into how books can help to shape our own story. Love this book!
Plan to Be Flexible – I bought this book on Kindle a long time ago and never took the time to read it. Â I began reading this last week and have found a lot of encouragement! I look forward to finishing it this week.
The Reader’s Bible Vol. 5 – This is the first volume in the New Testament. I have to say that I have really been enjoying The Reader’s Bible!
Honey for a Child’s Heart – Over my years of homeschooling, I have heard this book recommended over and over. I can’t believe that I have never purchase a copy to read and use! Â After reading Sarah Clarkson’s, Read for the Heart, I decided I wanted to get this resource too and read through it. I’m sure I will find more great books to add to our reading list!
