Sheri-tinyAs 2012 draws to a close, I have been spending some time reflecting on this past year…evaluating what I have accomplished here on my site to better serve you.

It seems over this past year, the Lord has really laid on my heart the desire to be intentional in all I do – whether that is in areas of homemaking, homeschooling, or parenting.  I want to intentionally love, learn, and LIVE for Him!

Here is where I need your help.  Over the next few weeks, I am going to be spending some time planning out ideas for the coming year.  In order to better serve you, I want to simply ask you what you would like to see.  Can you take a few moments to jot me a note in the comments, answering the question below?  Part of being intentional is knowing the need.  Thank you!

What areas of your life do you feel you need the most help/encouragement in (i.e. homeschooling, planning, cleaning, meal planning, etc.)?  Explain the struggles you have in these areas, being as specific as possible!

Thank you for taking the time to help.  My time is limited and I want to be diligent in doing those things that would be the most helpful to you, my dear readers.  I will read each and every one of your comments and will prayerfully consider how I can better serve you in the coming new year!

I am going to be taking a bit of a break from blogging now until after the first of the year.  You may see a post or two come through, but my focus over the next few weeks is going to be making memories with my family and spending some extra time planning for the coming year.

May each of you have a blessed Christmas!  Cherish each moment…it is a gift!

  1. I would love to see more on meal planning, cleaning, and just how you're able to schedule everything. I really want to get on a routine/schedule at home next year and I know that's where I really need help. By routines/schedules, I mean like cleaning, meal planning, and extra curricular activities.
    1. Thank you Jackie for your comments! I will consider doing more writing on the topics you mentioned in the coming year. One resource that I have already done that may help you tremendously is my Intentional Planner. A one-year membership only costs $5 and that gives you access to all my Intentional Planner planning pages! You can download them all and put together your very own planner. I couldn't live without mine! If you can afford it, the life-time membership for the Intentional Planner site is $67 and that gives you additional access to some audios, videos, plus a ton of my homemaking ebooks! If you are interested at all, you can check out the planner here: https://sherigraham.com/intentionalplanner. Have a great day in the Lord!
  2. Sheri, My most difficult area is in time-management. I'm curious how you do your computer researching-- you are often coming up with interesting books/music/homeschool websites that you share on your blog. I'm thankful for the ones you tell about, but how do you find them? Do you have a system for discovering new resources? Also, how do you manage time for looking at blogs? Do you use Google reader or something like that?
    1. Thanks Diane! Time management...something I still work on :)! As far as your other questions...I feel some blog posts coming on :). Have a great day!
  3. Hi Sheri- I would love to see an updated version of your How to Write and Publish an eBook for Almost Free. I would also be very interested in learning more about who you use for web hosting, how your website is set up, etc. I would also like your thoughts on how you balance your business and your family. I am so encouraged by how you have continued to run your business but have backed up and slowed down a bit. I have really noticed a change in how you run your business and I know you are focusing on your family at the same time. I would love to sit down over a cup of coffee with you! :) May the Lord give you clear wisdom and direction for the new year. May you have a blessed time celebrating His birth!!
    1. Thank you RaShell! I am working on the "How to Write an Ebook" project and hope to have a completely revamped copy available first of the year! Regarding balancing a home business and my family...I still feel that I am no expert on that, but I will prayerfully consider doing some writing on that too. Have a great day!
