    1. Hi Debbie, I fixed the links to Gwen's site. It looks like she has not upgraded her site to "https" and when I upgraded my site, it changed all the links to "https". Anyway, the links will work now!
  3. Hi! Just wanted to see if you could clarify S meals... I know there is a limit of 45 grams for an E meal. What is the limit of fat for an S meal?
    1. Hi Dana, As far as how much fat in an S meal, there really isn't a cap on it. The main concern in an S meal is keeping your carbs to 10 grams or under. You don't want to overdo the fat in an S meal, but you don't have to worry about counting. Hope that helps!
    2. Dana, I should clarify -- in an E meal, you are wanting to get between 20-45 grams CARBS and very little fat. E meals are high carb, low fat. S meals are high fat, low carb.
  4. Just was wondering if the Facebook for all this is "open"? We do NOT have Facebook, but would like to view some of the sharing. Is that possible.? Thanks.
    1. Hi Julie, I am not exactly sure what you are asking. In order to see Facebook posts, you have to have a Facebook account. I hope that clarifies! But there is a lot of information about THM on the internet -- the THM website: www.trimhealthymama.com, along with tons of blogs. Check out my THM page for lots of recipes and posts about THM too.
  5. Hi am new and it is compicated, i was wondering do i have to buy the Trim Heathy Mama products to make their reciepes? Thank you.
    1. Hi Melodie, In the new cookbook, there are recipes that use the THM products, but you can always use other brands. You just have to figure out what you can afford and go with that. Hope that helps!

  7. I can't find the quick start guide. I have the book. I'm anxious to start but it's so overwhelming. I need a quick start guide. If you have one would you tell me where it is or email it to me? I've clicked on some things but nothing seems to get me anymore resources. I've trie the shopping list too and can't get anything. Might be because I'm on an iPad?
  8. I just came across your blog and am loving it so far:) I have the Trim Healthy Mama book and have read it and re-read it... I am so confused! I have never had to watch my weight until after baby #5, never read food labels, etc. Just wondering if you have any helpful hints or tips to help me "catch on" to this lifestyle?
    1. Dear Susan, Welcome to my site..so glad you are enjoying looking around :). Welcome to Trim Healthy Mama too. I admit that that huge book is overwhelming and takes a bit for it all to sink in. The key is starting with just one change at a time. Start with breakfast, then work on some snacks, then the noon meal, then the dinner meal. For me dinner is the hardest because the rest of the family isn't quite on board :), plus the kids need to have things that I don't need..so that makes dinner a little more challenging at first. I just want to encourage you to take it slow. Don't think you have to make a ton of changes at once. I tackled breakfast and lunch and started noticing weight loss right away. Use Gwen's quick start guide, too, that is linked in this post. Gwen does an excellent job of giving you baby steps. Just take it slow. You will have some items to order so that you can make some of the yummy foods, but again start with one or two things, then slowly add in more as you get used to it. Praying the Lord blesses your efforts with THM! It has been such a blessing to me! Have a wonderful day, Sheri
