Trim Healthy Mama {Cookie Bowl Oatmeal}

Just imagine…a nice big bowl full of chocolate,  peanut butter, oatmeal goodness…and it is good for you!  I love making this Cookie Bowl Oatmeal for breakfast every now and then for something different.  This recipe is found on page 232 of the Trim Healthy Mama book.

What I love about this dish is that I mix it up the night before and stick it in the refrigerator.  It is like having a bowl full of those yummy chocolate no-bake cookies!  Really!

Since this recipe is a low fat, low carb one, it is a Fuel Pull.  That means that I can eat it and lose weight!  Yeah!

    • I love it too. I am getting stuck in a rut having the Fat Stripping Frapa and the Mud Slide Muffin for breakfasts. Time for a change! Cookie Bowl Oatmeal sounds good for some breakfasts real soon!

    • Hi Ashley, I don’t remember it being slimy when I made it. Maybe try using less Glucc. and see if that does it. I would just try it again and see if it does the same thing. When I make it it is more like a pudding with oatmeal in it. Good luck!

  1. Ashley use less water. I think it calls for 1/2 cup or more the second time. I use a couple Ts or 1/4 cup. Much better.

  2. Glad I read these comments – mine was crazy soupy and I could NOT choke it down. ugh. I think I’d like the flavors warm though, hmm.
