Homemade for the Holidays #2: Chocolate Covered Spoons

These are so fun to make and really are pretty!  You can do all sorts of variations…with sprinkles, drizzle different kinds of chocolate over the spoons, etc.  Have fun!

Chocolate Covered Spoons

Melt a package of chocolate chips in a saucepan.

Using sturdy plastic spoons, dip the spoon end entirely in the chocolate.

Let excess chocolate drip off.

Decorate with sprinkles and let harden on wax paper.

Once they are completely cooled and the chocolate is hardened, wrap several in some pretty holiday treat bags and tie with a ribbon!

  1. This looks like an interesting lollipop. I can envision doing more than just chocolate-- maybe caramel first, with chocolate on top . . . Thanks for this idea!
