BISCUITS

3 cups unbleached white flour (or I use the hard white wheat that I grind into flour)
2 T. sugar
1 1/2 t. sea salt
4 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup milk

Mix dry ingredients in Bosch.  Then add butter and allow to mix in with the dry ingredients.  Add milk last and let mix until soft and smooth.  (If doing by hand, mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.  Cut in softened butter.  Add milk and mix well, using hands to work dough until smooth.)

Roll out dough and cut into biscuits.  I make about 10-12 medium-sized biscuits.

Bake at 450 degrees for 8-12 minutes.

GRAVY

1 pound sausage (or whatever meat you want to use)
1 cup milk
1/4 cup flour (I use whole wheat flour)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
2 cups milk

Brown or cook your meat first. Then in a small container put the 1 cup milk, flour, salt, and pepper.  Put lid on and shake to mix.  Add to pan of meat.  Stir in additional milk (2 cups). Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly.  Cook and stir 1-2 minutes more or until thickened.

I made tator tot casserole last night but instead of canned cheddar cheese soup I used your cream of chicken soup recipe and added about 1 C. of cheddar cheese. It was a hit with everyone!
